(A) Once the home and property of the Hull-Daisetta Rotary Club No. 2306 sponsored by the Liberty Rotary Club and Chartered on April 1, 1926.
(B) To be the future home of our District 5910 archives where our rich history will be preserved for future generations.
The State of Texas will own and maintain the old district building. Also, the State will maintain our clubs’ archives in the State Library building, which is climate and humidity controlled.
Items from each Rotary Club will be displayed on a rotational basis in the Rotary House. The many visitors who come to the State Library will have the opportunity to learn about Rotary and our various programs and projects such as Polio eradication.
All donations will be gratefuly accepted and recognized at the district level. All donations of $100.00 or more will be recognized with a named brick at the site.
The Club invested a little over $11,000 on behalf of seventy children who needed the help this holiday season. The Club raised most of the funds from local fund raising activities and was helped by special donations totaling over $2,600 from members (and a friend of the club). Last year a little over 50 chlidren were helped.
